Im writing on a childbook for age 8-10 and have a girl as main character. She have just one eye because she lost one when she was hit by the lightning. Nobody belives her story and they call her liar and make fun of her story and look.

I need help with the bad words. What they tell her (normal mobbing?) and what they do with her.

Maybe she would need some specialpower to defend herself?

I can´t help you with the bad words, but I have an idea on a supernatural power built on the lightning attack. Every time she gets really angry (or afraid or very emotional?) her body gets electric and if someone touches her skin they will get an electric shock.

It does make an interesting character to work with. A power which is excellent if something goes really bad and still a bad power because other children might see her a freak. Maybe she can learn to control it or use it to get popular in school. Or maybe she just wants to be normal and hates the power.

Thanks Macke, I´m happy to get your input to work with. Good idea to give her the specialpower of the lightning. A little risk of copying "Fireborn" but that story is old now ;) and my plan is that this girl do a lot of good stuff. Catching thiefs and saving lifes... Very good.
